The Jessie Afari Foundation, visited the Koforidua prisons on Friday, 15th November, 2024 to donate medical consumables.
The Foundation, founded in 2017, has been touching lives through donations and health promotion programs in Ghana with the goal on improving healthcare in the lives of Ghanaians. As part of this year’s project, the team, led by Dr. Jessie Afari, donated items including: adult wheelchairs, pick-up walkers, pairs of crutches, cabinets, rollator walkers, shower chair, walking sticks, BP machines, thermometer, limb braces, stackable chairs, office chair and reacher to the Koforidua prisons with the hope of improving the lives of inmates while supporting the work of the Prison officers.
