Donation to Ho Central Prisons by Riis Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Ho with support from the Prison Ministry
The annual donations to the inmates of the Ho Central Prisons by the Riis Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Ho with support from the Prison Ministry ( Riis & Head Office), the Local Bible Study and Prayer Group and other individual donors came off successfully at the forecourt of the Ho Central Prisons on sunday 14th of April, 2024.
Assorted items totalling Ghs 10,270.00 were presented to the inmates. Some of the items presented were Bags of Rice, Sugar, Gari,Sanitary Pads, , Carbolic and Liquid Soaps, used clothings, medications and Laboratory Tools. The occasion was graced by the Volta Presbytery Chairperson Rev Frank Oguase Adu, The Dangbe Tongu Presbytery Chair person Rev Abraham D. Okai, Volta Presbytery Clerk Rev Gilbert Miwornunyuie and the Ho District Minister Rev Emmanuel Obiri Yeboah.
The items were received on behalf of the inmates by ASP Frank Avadu. He thanked the church for her continual support to the inmates. A former inmate Mr Stephen Frimpong advised the inmates to be of good behaviour and have faith in God.
