On 2nd June, 2020 courtesy of the Prison Ministry of Ghana’s International Director, three (3) female ex-inmates had a new lease of life. Donations of cash, equipment and production consumables were made to each according to their field of specialization at the St Thomas House, PMG Head Office. This is to help re-integrate them as independent members of the society. The recipients were effusive in gratitude to PMG, and God for the unexpected lift-up. Rev. Agyekum Baah of the Chaplaincy Unit of the Ghana Police Service Headquarters gave an exhortation and also led prayers for both donors and recipients. Few weeks later, one of the ex-inmates who specializes in soap-making delivered the first consignment of 50 gallons of liquid soap to the Kumasi Central Prisons.
On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Prison Ministry of Ghana we wish to express our deep gratitude to you, members and friends of the Ministry for your generous act of kindness to mankind, especially to our brothers and sister in the confines of the prisons in Ghana. May God continue to increase your resources and bless you and your families abundantly with His presence and favor as you bless the inmates with the resources He has given you.
