On Friday, 26th April, 2024, the Prison Ministry of Ghana partnered with the Team Affluent of Stanbic Bank to make a donation to the Nsawam Female Prisons. Start-up kits, equipment and production materials for yoghurt making, dress-making/tailoring and soap making were presented. The recipients were four (4) inmates of good repute whose terms of incarceration had ended in the same month.
The presentations were to enable them to practise trades which they had learned and gained proficiency in.This will help make them economically productive and financially independent as they re-enter normal society outside the prisons.Team Affluent and PMG shall monitor the progress of this group in order to ensure their successful reintegration.

A cash donation of GHC10,000 was also made for the Prison to revamp facilities and equipment at the trades and vocational training centres so that other inmates can also benefit from the in-house training programmes.
The 15-man Affluent Team contingent was led by Mrs. Margaret Obimpeh, while PMG had the Executive Director, Mr Akumfi Ameyaw Buanya.
The pictures and videos captured some of the highlights of the event.
